Load Project - On behalf of a customer!

One way to easily invite your customers to use the Boardera platform is to use our Load Project feature, which allows you to upload projects on behalf of your customer, then invite them to view those projects so they can complete the requirements you need and facilitate the order faster.


Below are the steps for uploading a project on behalf of your customer in the Boardera platform. This is a great way to ensure you are collecting all of the requirements quickly and ensuring the service is made available to your customers who want it.

How to Use the Load Project Feature

  • As a manufacturer, click “Load Project” at the top of the screen. 

  • Enter the email address of the customer you want to load a project for and click “Next”

  • Load the project and walk through the editor to define your board options, source parts, etc.

  • Click “Send” at any point in the process; you’ll receive a confirmation window before any action is done.

  • In the confirmation window, click “Confirm” to send an invitation email to your customer. They will receive an email prompting them to sign up and view the project. You will also receive a copy of the email.
